Rev. Nelson and Sis. Marie Kimberly have been serving as the leads pastors of Dilworth Church of God for 20 years. Pastor Kimberly is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He has pastored and evangelized throughout the state of Alabama for over 42 years. He has also ministered in Honduras. Pastor Kimberly has been instrumental in the devlopment of the House of Refuge Food Bank that, to date, has served almost 150,000 clients. 

   

   Pastor Kimberly and Sis. Marie have been married for almost 42 years. They have one son, Andrew Kimberly, along with his wife, Ashley Kimberly, and their 3 grandchildren, Lexi, Hannah, and Hudson. Andrew and Ashley are currently serving as the Athletic Directors.

   

   Sis. Marie is currently serving as the Music Director. She has been included in music programs playing keys and organ since she was 11 years old. Marie serves as the secretary of the church and the pastor. She is also the church treasurer and a board member of the Women's Ministry at Dilworth. Marie graduated the nursing program at Central Alabama State College in 1980 where she worked as a full time, licensed nurse until she felt led out of the nursing field and join Rev. Nelson in full time ministry. Both Rev. and Sis. Kimberly graduated the Church of God Ministerial Internship Program in 1983. Additionally, they have studied education in Lewisville, Texas and are presently board certified teachers in the Accelerated Christian Education School Curriculum.

   

   Pastor and Sister Marie love the Dilworth Church of God congregation and are happy to be a part of such a great family and are looking forward to many more years of serving God and the people at Dilworth.
